Colors to your nails

Ever wondered whence the last time you polish your nails with different colors? Mine, I can't exactly remember when. As an artist, I do love to mingle with colors, especially the complicated ones... like turquoise, cayenne or something else way too out of the main color chart. And with that, I love nail polishes. But I think it's not easy for others to polish their nails--way to go lefty or way to go rightly.

Speaking of this last time, I think it's about three or four years ago? The reason why I kind of lost track updating my nail like the way I used to is not because that I don't like it anymore, or I got bored out of sanity... it's probably because I didn't have the time to fix it myself or that my nail kit and colors are all dry. Pfft--or maybe I got lazy to do so. No, I just don't have the time. When things in life hits you out of nowhere, sometimes your college hobby to yourself just fades away without notice. And so we are forgetting things like this.

(Here comes my new colors)

I've been looking for these colors since the first time I laid those wet brushes on my nails. How lucky of me to find them when me and my husband were doing shopping four hours ago. I didn't resist, and I even asked my husband which of them is prettier. He chose the greenish one, but since I love both colors, I got the blue one as well. And so, here comes the alternating colors of my nails.

Rurouni Kenshin: Inferno

I've been a huge fan of Rurouni Kenshin since the first time I saw it when I was in high school! Hearing about the news that there will be a live action movie for RK, I was really anxious to see it and waited for it for like--months!? The first movie was supposed to be aired in the Philippines around October 2012, and God knows what that it was postponed until December. The waiting was really worth it.

Now, here comes the second part of the movie and seeing the movie poster, I got really excited! It'll be aired in Japan on August 1 (as what's the poster been telling us) XD and I don't want to think about the fact that it could be aired again on the same month two years ago. I mean, if it's going to be aired around October, then so be it--enough with the rescheduling since there's a lot of avid RK fans here in the Philippines waiting for that sequel!

I think the Kyoto Arc is one of the best arcs in Rurouni Kenshin, otherwise they wouldn't choose this arc for the live action? I don't know hahah! And I do think that this part is a must seen for RK. Fellow fans should absolutely know why. First off, we have Tatsuya Fujiwara playing the role of Makoto Shishio--the Light Yagami of the Death Note live action movies. I really can't imagine what will happen in this movie.

All I know is I'm God damn excited to see this!

Ozine Fest 2013 - Day 3

Ozine, correct? As far as I can remember, I do love to attend anime conventions and cosplay events -- who doesn't? But I've only attended a few cons these past few years, starting way back in 2008 for two major reasons: 1.) I don't know anyone who'd like to come and 2.) probably I don't have the budget I need for the event. And here comes Ozine 2013 and I have my special someone with me for this event, my beloved other half. He on the other hand, had been attending conventions for years. So even though we've known each other since the first time I've attended a con, God knows why he didn't ask me to go with him seriously. But I'm glad this time, we've attended this event together--just the two of us.

  1. Ozine Fest front stage
  2. Me and Byce while taking a break
  3. Byce with some PALS members
  4. Me and this adorable Yata cosplayer
  5. Some solo pictures and me being crazy with my huge glasses

We've done some random things the entire day. In fact, we've been roaming around the entire convention halls, looking for GunPla, chikara hats, and a lot more. I also bought this huge glasses, ignoring my real reading glasses. We've watch the cosplay competition as well, insulting and laughing at cosplayers who failed during their walk--so evil of me actually XD but it was fun, and inspiring how these awesome otakus managed to create the costumes and transforms themselves into their Kami-sama character.
